One-on-one Private Tuition
The focused attention in a one-on-one home environment helps students to feel comfortable and address any questions at any time. Growth Tutoring supports goal setting, addresses individual student strengths and weaknesses, plans and schedules the next event (i.e. assignment, test, or exam), comes up with strategies, builds academic self-confidence and encourages motivation in order to reach their full potential. Every tutor of Growth Tutoring will provide you with the following services:
- Get to know each other and work out a plan that is best for you.
- Focus each tutoring sessions on goals and be results driven.
- Provide ongoing support to each assignment, report, test or exam.
- Develop a proper way of thinking to be able to tackle different problems.
- Most importantly, TEAM = Together Everyone (to) Achieve More.
Growth Tutoring places students with similar levels in a group of 3 or plus to create an interactive environment. Group tuition is suitable for those students who like to work in a team. The tutor in Group tuition will be a facilitator to raise questions and give opportunity for students to answer them. This method particularly helps students convert what they understand into practice. Group tuition is interesting, interactive, and full of team work, Q&A and plenty of discussions.
Growth Tutoring also offers intensive workshops during the summer and winter school holidays. The aim of intensive workshops is to teach students exam tips and tricks and run through strategies to tackle exam questions. GrowthTutoring offers an extensive collection of past exams which are invaluable for teaching the material and for exam preparation. For all students, Growth Tutoring uses the Systematic Analysis Framework. This unique problem solving approach taught to students provides a system to approach all topics that they encounter in school. This system seeks to provide the students with a way in which they can better solve their own queries. This system differs from most tutors who are primarily concerned with answering the students immediate questions and not concerned with providing the students with basic problem solving skills for future applications.
